How to get to the Centre:
The Scout Centre is easily accessible by car, ferryboat, train, bus and by plane (Lisbon Airport).
Coming from the north, over the bridge (25 de Abril), or from south on the A2, take the IC20 exit – direction Costa da Caparica. At the end of the IC20 turn right at the traffic lights, driving down Av. Afonso Albuquerque. At the first roundabout of this avenue take the third exit and follow the direct acess to the park. (Don’t worry about the forbitten traffic sign as vehicles going to the park are allowed).
River Crossing Lisboa – Cacilhas
The main terminals are Cais do Sodré and Praça do Comércio. From Cacilhas there are bus connections to the Costa da Caparica town centre – (TST – Bus 135 direct, or Bus 124 by Almada)
River Crossing Belém – Trafaria
The main terminal is in Belém. From Trafaria there are bus connections to Costa da Caparica town centre – (TSF – Bus 129 or Bus 183). You can opt to walk the Scout Centre, is approximately 5km from Trafaria.
At Pragal, approximately 8km from Costa da Caparica there is a train station, connecting with Lisbon, and the subway – Metro (Entrecampos/ Sete-Rios/ Roma-Areeiro). From the Pragal train station there is bus connection to Costa da Caparica town centre –(TSF – Bus 194).
From Lisbon – Praça de Espanha, catch the TST Bus 153 to Costa da Caparica.
From Lisbon – Praça do Areeiro, catch the TST Bus 161 to Costa da Caparica.
At Lisbon Airport Catch Bus 91 to Cais do Sodré. Take the ferry to Cacilhas and then TST-Bus direct to the Costa da Caparica town centre, or Bus 124 by Almada.
